Lahert's Cakes made a wonderfully moist earl grey sponge, and the flavour was even accented in the icing. The bright yellow icing contrasted superbly with the fresh white daisies and they arrived in a beautiful box with matching ribbon.

The aim of Lahert's Cakes is to provide beautiful cakes that delight both the eye and the tastebuds. To achieve this, quality ingredients are at the heart of what we do. Doves Farm flour, creamy organic British butter, free range eggs from our local farm, unrefined Fairtrade sugar, Green & Blacks cocoa and chocolate, and Madagascan vanilla are our store-cupboard staples. We complement these with unwaxed lemons, succulent British raspberry jam, British carrots and apples, and other fine foods to make our cakes scrumptious - local sourcing is important to us, and we try to minimise food miles wherever possible. Overall, we strive to create a cake that you will love and remember.

All of our cakes are created to meet your requirements so whilst we do have a core range that includes all of the classic favourite flavours, we work with you to understand what you really like and find the cake that will tickle your tastebuds. Flavours, shapes, sizes, colours and decorations are all up for discussion in order to make your treat unique.
